The Terrible Lair

The Terrible Lair is the Terrible Creations’ office and playroom at Podolje 10, Zagreb, Croatia.

All of the PoRtaL 8 programme shall be held here: talks, discussions and presentations in the morning and afternoon, games and networking in the late afternoon and evening.

The gamers bar Crni mačak is right next door, so go and grab a drink or two! As a conference attendee, you’ll get a discount! We recommend cocktails – there are approximately 30 of them and all are themed.

How to Get to the Terrible Lair

From the Zagreb Airport you can either take the airport shuttle service (30 HRK) or hop on a city bus (7/15 HRK, depending where you get the ticket).

Airport shuttle service – Go all the way to the last stop, the Main Bus Station. There you can take either tram no. 2 or 6 (4 HRK), go towards Črnomerec and get off at the Slovenska station.

Continue walking in the same direction until you reach a crossing. Turn right to the Nad lipom street, walk to the next intersection and then turn right. This is the Podolje street. After a short walk you’ll find the Lair next to the Crni mačak caffe.

Public transportation – Take a blue city bus no. 290 (10 HRK) from the station right across the main terminal building. Go all the way to the last stop, the Kvaternik square. Walk a short distance to the square and get on tram no. 11 (4 HRK) towards Črnomerec.

Get off at the Slovenska station. Continue walking in the same direction until you reach a crossing. Turn right to the Nad lipom street, walk to the next intersection and then turn right. This is the Podolje street. After a short walk you’ll find the Lair next to the Crni mačak caffe.
